Letter to Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich – Los Angeles County

Dear Mr. Antonovich,
This comes to you as an urgent plea for help on behalf of my mother who is an 86 year old senior citizen. She has been caught up in a mortgage crisis that needs immediate intervention. Her home was built in 1926 and has been in her family for 83 years.
This matter is in need of appropriate attention and exposure. I’m trying to get the help she needs to spare her from loosing her home to foreclosure and to restore her life and wellbeing. To this point no one has been willing to help her and we have been working on this for 6 months now with no resolution. Time is running out since on December 1st, 2009 her loan will re-cast to a higher interest rate and payment. The higher payment is more than she can afford so it would cause her to go into default.
We have been in contact with the necessary political offices on this matter as well. We are also currently trying to get exposure through news media both local and national but it has been very difficult to get any attention.
Please can you assist us in this matter? We need your help as soon as possible.
