Call For A Citibank HARP Refinance…

Citibank doesn’t make is easy — prepared to be put on hold for a long time, but here is the number to reach Citibank’s operators who will actually try to qualify you for a Home Affordability Refinace: 1-877-971-9710.  Citi is already doing Fannie Mae refinances, but as of this writing, they are not doing Freddie Mac refiances under the Home Affordability Refiance Program (HARP).  Citi will gladly try to refinance you the “normal” way — and accept your payment for an application fee ($100) and an appraisal ($425)….  Citi reps have told me that they will start processing Freddie Mac refi’s under HARP in late May… I’ll update this blog if/when I find out if that’s true.
